My Father recently passed away he was quite a boxer back in the day Gerald

after 20 years still resides in yarmouth Marjorie Savory. We were taken
from her years ago but by the grace of god have found each other again.

Date: 1/26/2004 Name: mo Location: pei E-Mail: mobrien@isn.net Comments: would love to see more of the community, the homes along the road from the Yarmouth town line and through the community of Sand Beach, both sides of the road, and to have on the Internet photos of the house our family lived in in the early 1930s until 1941, and it was at one time called the Horton House, and there were two different large photos of it in the Yarmouth town library in the 1980s or early 90s. Sand Beach School is where we went to school and there was a Miss Clarke and a Mr Doucette and other teachers there. Our house was in between Cosman's and Cahoon's. Also our grandfather's house was in Sand Beach and there is a Jenkins family living in it, a big square looking house with a big chestnut tree my grandfather planted there a good distance away from the house--just after 1912 and now it touches the house! I cannot find photos of those places on the net, it skips Sand Beach altogether. Another photo I wish someone had was that of the old Gateway Lodge at 5 Forest Street in Yarmouth where the Tourist Info Bureau sits now! Just across from the Colony restaurant that used to be the local of Jeff Thibeau's Garage! There's a little history. The place was owned by Sam Nichols. mo Webmaster Comment:

lived in! Thank you so much! Would it be possible to see a photo
of the house across the road from where Mr MacKenzie once had a little
store? When we lived there, there were Cosmans on the side going toward
town, and Cahoons on the side heading toward the Wyman road turnoff. It
was between the old railroad and Wyman road on the side opposite the water.

Yarmouth (Sand Beach). I beleive his home is still there. He was a sea
captain. My grandfather C.A. McNeill, Jr. sailed with him as a young boy.
I have a wooden model hull of a square rig that was carved for him by one
of the mates. the model is quite large about one meter long and beam of
about 9 centimeters, a lovely peice of work. One day I hope to visit Yarmouth.
