Comments: Twelve years ago, when I was fifteen, I visited Yarmouth and Halifax with my great aunt and a group of others.  Since then I have wanted to return because it was such a beautiful place.

Comments: I and members of my family ( from Toronto & Hawaii ) were in Yarmouth for a few weeks in June/July,98.I was both pleased and then not so.
The folks down @ Ernies Hamburger Place were as usual, out of this world in friendliness, and support for our situation. Love 'em!
The folks associated w/ the Archives of the Historical Society were very helpful.
We enjoyed the Canada Day events predominently down @ Wedgeport more than Yarmouth. Perhaps Weather had a tad to do w/ this,eh??? Fog did me dirty several days!
Was forced to come across on CAT vs Flying into Halifax. Interesting trip. Fast!! Was a little perturbed about having to pay only in $US enroute to Canada.Not the most swift economical situation.
Felt heart-broken to learn that I'd never hear the voice of Yarmouth Light anymore. If anybody has ever recorded the foghorn sound of Yarmouth, would love to have it as well.
The girls @ the Austrian Inn and Mollies were the best!!!
Will be back. Still a Bluenoser at heart!

Comments: I am doing some research on my family tree and on the Churchill side, there are relatives born in Yarmouth,NS.  I am looking for them and I have the following information:

John Samuel Churchill married Eliza (Reading) Churchill in the 1840's I believe.  They had seven children, again assumed to be in Yarmouth, NS.  George; who married Nellie and had 1 daughter.  Watson; who had two sons; Hiram and Bernard. Harvey had one son; Dwight who migrated to Boston, MA  USA.  Josephine had two daughters.  Rebecca, Lois, and Charles.  Charles was born on August 17, 1863.  I don't know if he was the oldest or youngest but I know that it was in Yarmouth, NS.  he migrated to Beverly Mass after learning fishing to work on the Phillips Farm in Beverly, MA,.  Then relocated to Lebanon, NH, married and had seven children.  I am looking for historical records and would appreciate being directed.  Thanks in advance.

enter the Canadian Forces. Now that I am away from home
it feels so great to see the pictures of down home again.
The descriptions given of the Tusket Islands are great But
They should have more pictures and information on them.
The people here are from all accross canada and when I show
them the pictures that I have they are amazed at how beautiful
